i've never heard the F word so many times in one movie.

they never explained why DiCarprio gave that shrink the brown envelope and told her to open it if something happened to him. What was the deal with that?

I think it had something to do with Marky Mark knowing that Matt Damon was the mob mole. How else would he have known?

Heard Marky Mark on the radio this morning, and apparently Scorcese is making a sequal to this film. Not usually too excited about sequals, but I think if anyone can do it right, it would be Scorcese

I think it told her to call mark Wahlberg and tell him what happened, then he was able to kill him

    Sequel?

Would it take place in the afterlife?

That was the part that I couldn't figure out, that makes sense.

The Boondock Saints has more F bombs than either The Departed or Snatch.

How can they make a sequel...

when all the characters died in the end of the first movie?

Well, in IA3, it was only Andy's character and the pyschologist that was alive and they brought in a couple of more people to make it work.

I can see how a similar direction can be taken. I just don't like it because it's almost a different genre of movie than the original.

    Wahlberg Says "Departed" Sequel Unlikely
By Garth Franklin Monday April 2nd 2007 8:25am

Dubious about that Mark Wahlberg-led "The Departed" sequel ever getting made? Don't worry, so is Wahlberg himself.

The actor tells UK Teletext that "Until I'm actually on the set it's not happening. It's about as confirmed as the Italian Job sequel, The Brazilian Job. Until we can make it better than the first one it's not worth discussing."

He adds "I've never done a sequel before, there's only a couple I can think of that were as god as the first ones - The Godfather."
