you've already backtracked and admitted that the line didn't play well

and the texans have the rookie of the year on defense, and one of the best cornerbacks in football. again, every position can't be great, just like pittsburgh's secondary sucks

no they don't because they're draft picks have sucked, do you follow?

just like ryans sacked collins, yet you continue to claim the d line had no help, but i didn't see that jerk.

look over here! look over here!! no, no - not there, HERE!!

settle the kettle - robinson is not one of the best cornerbacks in football. since you didn't watch the game, that was robinson beaten on the 47-yard play that set up the game-winning FG. but even if he was, you've admitted faggins isn't good enough to start; so that essentially benches robinson as teams pick on faggins, which they've done repeatedly. all these parts have to work together.

and the steelers secondary does not suck.

(divert! divert! call him a "jerk") i fail to see your point. are you saying one single, solitary play (which you saw on espn last night) completely invalidates the other 59 minutes of the game?

if you're going to use the jerk tatics I will respond, you claimed I backtracked after doing it earlier.

and I saw dick endberg and randy cross (while not watching) say how great the throw was throwing to a place where robinson couldn't make the play

    bet to differ

wait a minute, you just did the same thing on the point i'm responding to about the sack and the d robinson play. they're all one play each.

and i guess your point now is that dameaco ryans sucks. boy who is back tracking?

Robinson is not a great DB. Houston fans only THINK he is.

wait just a second: who said that *anybody* sucks (other than you claiming the nfl's #1-ranked defense and #3-ranked pass defense's secondary sucked)?

i don't think dunta robinson is one of the nfl's best CBs. and apparently, in whatever reality you call home, that must obviously mean i think he sucks? and because you drew an ill-conceived parallel to a play i mentioned involving robinson (which was merely the latest, greatest example of why i don't think he's one of the NFL's best CBs; and while i agree, btw, that the pass and catch WERE perfect... one of the NFL's best CBs breaks that play up) to a play you mentioned involving demeco ryans that had NO relevance *whatsoever* to our discussion... then i obviously ALSO think demeco ryans sucks?

that's what you've been reduced to? making **** up? and i never backtracked on anything, either, btw; i said the D played well given the circumstances. within that effort, the DL can have its struggles - that's what happens when you're on the field all day with your backs against your own goalline because your offense sucks.

i made a mistake and misread a thread, calling you out in the process. i admitted the mistake before anyone else made comment. you could have said your piece and moved on; you had every right. but in doing so, you broke out "*******" and "dumbass" and "jerk." and while i'm not excusing my actions -- it WAS a cheap shot -- i ventured nowhere near name-calling territory. i essentially accused you of not watching the game (ironically, a statement that you have more than proven was actually correct) -- oh yeah, and i called your position lazy (which it is).

but the "*******"s and "dumbass"es and "jerk"s continued; which, whatever - i knew it was born out of your frustration of having your balls kicked throughout this thread.

and the name-calling doesn't inherently bother me (and i'm by no means above it) but i realized it's the last resort of a desperate poster - you're not engaging me; just insulting me (and yourself, in the process, because no one could possibly read this thread and think you've distinguished yourself).

so, please, if, for whatever reason, you want to continue this (and, my god, why would you?), let's try and be civil from this point forward, OK? otherwise, it's a waste of my time.

I can't help but feel partially responsible for all of this, since it was me that bumped this thread up just to take a cheap shot at Travis Johnson.

Andre Johnson keeps the offense on the field longer. In turn, the defense gets to be off the field more often.

The combination equals a higher win percentage.

A higher win percentage means less fights and more love.

In conclusion, get your A$$ back Andre!!!!!

You're mixing up your Wizard of Oz characters. The scarecrow needed a brain. It was the cowardly lion that needed courage.

you never apologized for the vince comment, you just said "my bad" i'm still right about the reason the thread started.

you still claim i didn't watch the game in the threads, and the true stupidity of that insult is i obviously watched the previous game which had nothing to do with vince

as long as people start out with the mindset that everyone who criticizes mario is doing because of a vince agenda this is how the threads will end up.

its like in the game thread, i get into a debate about brad johnson, responding to a claim about vince that the cat brought up, and drummer who apparently can't read, claims I'm running smack about the titans.

no problem, just stop saying everything I say relates to vince, as much as i like tinman, i'm not him

i have gotten over the pick a long time ago. when i realized that bob mcnair apparently wanted to have sex with david carr, i knew it was never going to happen.

and like i said earlier, i support the mario pick, still do, but that doesn't mean i can't criticize his play.
