Offensive Win shares counts only the scoring not any other stat that a player can contribute to wins like assists, rebounds, steals. It is unfairly biased to only scoring. Defensive win shares on the other hand is influenced completely by the players someone plays with. If you play with good defenders you have good DWS even if you aren't as good defender. So stop throwing it this stat around like it's the end of all.
i still post here because i am a rockets fan; not a harden fan. t-mac is a great 4th quarter player. do you not know what happened at the end of the 4th quarter in game 2? do you like having 13 turnovers in game 5 like harden?

Harden (24), had a Youtube video (10min) mocking his defense. Harden (26) got rescued from 2nd Round elimination (literally, from the bench) by his hustling teammates. You must be trolling if you think Harden can do no wrong.

I am watching Harden entire time in 2 nd and 3rd quarters. I can say this guy does not belong in NBA. Rockets play 4 vs 5 with him on the court. Celtics keep getting offensive rebounds because Harden is in no man's land all the time and doesn't know what a box out is. Just watch him. He usually doesn't even show up on screen because how far away he always is from action.
