    Or perhaps just a joke?

Agreed, although we really don't know what David is thinking.

I honestly feel sorry for David Carr. Whether or not he's "the one" or could ever become "the one" is irrelevant as the Texans certainly never gave him the opportunity to do squat.

I wish him the best of luck.

    David,

Thank you for the memories. I am sorry that so many people weren't as classy as to keep their mouths quiet to not say anything at all if it wasn't something nice. I'd like to let you know that I had supported you and everyone in your team's history, no matter if they were good or bad, and I only asked that they put 100% through the game, all 60 minutes of it.

Although at times we thought that all the beating made you quit, you came back like you had the desire. I enjoyed the many wins you helped us get, and the strength you used to pump that ball through the line that gave us so many points.

Thank you for never putting your head down and accepting that you may have made mistakes like some other people have as well. Be the same person and don't let something like this bring you down. We know you tried your best.

    Thank you.

STFU... that's classless... to make others think that I am like you. SPEAK FOR YOURSELF next time, please. It's people like you that make the world spicy. Thank you .

IROC it, I believe those photos include some of the other seasons as well. We didn't play the Falcons the first season... it was the NFC East.

I can't believe how so many of you are saying "sorry for the offensive line..." and "i wished we could have protected you better"... so... DC wasn't completely at fault, huh? :(

I played with Derek this past year. He's surprisingly good for a sophomore, but there is a lot of room for improvementl. The only real negatives are that he can sometimes get discouraged and hesitate. Fortunetly, he's got a great offensive line, unlike his brother.

I talked to him on Tuesday and said he was staying regardless. Don't know the situation now.

David, I wish you the best. You were one tough mf. It was not your fault you were given a butter knife to fight a war.

Yeah agree 19-10 literally electrified H-Town and then a team that started like a **** strong bull developed persistent performance anxiety disorder coupled with erectile dysfunction at the hands of Asserly.

BTW, MM the dive was on the Jags in 2003 here but nonetheless, the memory was another good one!

DC will make a good, ample, talented backup elsewhere. Good luck, Davey!

Good one. I know you want to have sex w/ David Carr, but I know the majority of Texans fans who can't stand the former face of the franchise who couldn't give Houston a winning football team.

Don't worry, he'll get on w/ a different team and still give you some.... ;)

Thanks for the time DC, but you gotta roll.

    hey, I wanted Joey Harrington.

So we could have been trashing him.

Good luck to where ever you go.

We are going to rally behind our new QB.

Anybody ever met David in person?

I've read some stuff that he doesn't act mature in person like his reputation says he does.

remember the guy called john and lance's show and said that david was mean to him at a golf tournament. told him to go get him a turkey sandwich and I believe a dr. pepper.

then an emailer mails the show with a little skit that had david carr as pesci's character in goodfellas. in the scene where the guy is giving pesci a hard time about his shine box.

it was like david telling the caller

no I'm just breaking your balls
no go get my turkey sandwich

I wish I remember how the guy wrote it because it was just like the scene in goodfellas and it was pretty funny.

I hope he does well. I really do.

Not because it would make us look bad or anything, cuz I don't want that to happen. I just feel bad because we weren't able to give the guy a good offensive line ever, and the whole time, he stood there and took those sacks like a champ.
