But at least you can read the Telegraph on the train! Don't try unfolding the Herald on public transport...

If I could be bothered I'd search through and pull out numerous posts to the contrary, or at least thinking he's got Scola talent.

Slight is definitely a understatement. I'd say he has a huge offensive advantage he can shoot the jumper and even beyond the arch.

No he means the Herald (Sydney Morning Herald). The Age is Melbourne's newspaper.

I agree, the Telegraph is absolute trash. It isn't much better than The MX hahahaha.

The Herald is a much better paper. If you are concerned about how much space your paper takes up on the train, then your priorities are obviously whack to the point that you deserve to read trashy news.

That-being-said, I don't read papers much these days. I've usually got a novel or I'm playing Texas Hold 'em on my phone.

On the topic of the actual thread:
It's not hard to believe that Anderson is taking a paycut. Europe pays very well.

If you have to search through the forum to pull them out, then it's a minority.

We can just look at this thread to see what people's views are.

It'll be between Andersen and that Griffin guy for ROY... But I'm okay if they share co-ROY honors.

    This thread has been moderate.

I think things may of flamed out a bit after the initial thread. People may have learned to reign in their excitement somewhat.

I am confused now. So the general consensus amongst the Aussie Clutchfans is that DT is crap, how about the story? Did Andersen actually got A$9mil in this deal or not?

I‘d rather compare Anderson with Matt Bonner of Suprs.
If he can hit jumpers at high-post and the arc with a nice shooting pct%, it would be a success, regarding his salary. That's my expectation. :)

Let us just wait till He plays in the NBA. Less expectation is better. By January then a consensus can be made. Let his game in the NBA determine his real worth.

He was already the Matt Bonner of Australia.

As to the questions about his salary: That was in Australian Pesos. In American Kahniggits it comes out to about 4.8 million for two years with a team option for a third year at 2.7 mil.

Amazing job by Morey when you look around at centers in the NBA - starters or not.

Boner has proven NBA 3 point ranger, we don't quite know about Andersen yet.

I was referring to the news media, the Daily Telegraph (DT), not David Andersen. It's not a typo. ;)

And yes, I agree that we shall wait and see. Personally I would be very happy if he turns out to be a 10pt 8rbn player, like I said earlier in this thread.
