This would make a lot more sense if it wasn't for the fact that his criticism had to do with CNN cutting off the important stories. They decide to "leave it there" when there are still important questions to be asked. It's much EASIER to ask those questions when you have 24 hours instead of 30 minutes, and they still don't do it.
He had a bunch of clips of people saying leave it there which is easy to find. You seriously think there have not been people on there talking the counter points before? 80% of cable news is healthcare right now.
Why don't you post some examples for us of CNN anchors doing actual fact checking or calling people out for phony numbers. As you say, it ought not to be hard to find. Thanks in advance.
Are you saying CNN is biased in the health care debate? Any evidence beyond The Daily Show finding clips of them saying "leave it at that"?
I am asking you to provide some examples of what you are asserting - without any evidence - to be a common occurrence. In other words, one could say I'm fact checking your post.
I never know what Sam is saying, but I think Jon Stewart is saying that CNN is lazy and negligent of what people should expect from a news organization. If that's the case, I agree. They are biased towards not doing much homework and just leaving the 'work' to talking heads and daily gossip. Of course, it's not totally their fault, in that they need to be profitable, and they've found that model.

Here is Pat Buchanan spreading is wildly held hard right beliefs on Race, affirmative action, and white supremacy.
Oh ok. Let us see which facts I presented. Which of these do you deny? He did or did not have a bunch of those clips? My evidence for that being easy to find is he had a ton. The first is a question, no real fact there. Second is a number I pulled completely from my ass. If you disagree with 80% I accept that. Don't really see any fact checking here. Just asking me to "prove" something I never said. Weak.
Sad thing is we have a 24 hr news system that is suppose to be about informing the public on the facts of issues and not focus on the opinion based rants. It seems the facts are never presented and we get bad reporting on all of the major news stations. We fall for propaganda and we struggle as a country.
The main job cable news has is to bring in viewers so they can make money. Fox News was galling in it's weird attempt to bring down public broadcasting.
I'm asking you to prove your assertion that there are plenty of examples of CNN anchors doing the opposite of what they were very clearly shown to be doing - lazily accepting easily disprovable propaganda as true and not putting forth the slightest effort to challenge their guests. Or as you put it: "talking the counterpoints"
