There is a great book in Dutch about this subject by Joris Luyendijk which is called ("het zijn net mensen" (translated: "They are just like people") .it is written about a journalist who was stationed in Eqypt. He compains about how the new is just an entertainment industry, who does not report the news that is importent but the news that will make people watch. For example 1 death in the netherlands makes the news but 20 deaths in Thailand does not. Because the Dutch will not care. Furthermore he makes comments about how wars are reported, and how the army tells the journalist what to write. It is a great book, it is both funny and shocking. I do not think it is stranslated in English, but if it ever is it is you guys should read it. Maybe Deckard can try the dutch version
Yeah and add "f***ing" to the end of that goat and it is absolutely hilarious, especially in that English accent.
Because one only makes fun of people without actually doing anything. That same one also only has to fill 30 minutes compared to 24 hours. Either that or they are just waaaaaay smarter.
