you don't have to. When you see how other owners would never let their legends leave like Tim Duncan or Kobe or Dirk, it was extremely cheap to let Dream in his last season for some money that you were going to pay Shandon Anderson or Othella Harrington with.
I'm surprised the video didn't mention the 92-93 season when the Rockets and sonics played their 1st 2 games in Japan. That long plane ride is when Hakeem and the organization straightened everything out. A pinnacle moment in his career and the history of the Rockets.
I doubt anyone joined Clutchfans cause they saw their favorite player at Kroger or because they went to a commuter school. They joined for the Rockets! And Houstonians who lived that era loved the Rockets regardless if they got into a much better school or had to stay home and go to a commuter school.
Bill Worrell, Elvin Hayes, Don Chaney, Clyde Drexler, and Hakeem Olajuwon are Cougars. UH is a school for workers and those not having their bills paid by mommy and daddy. UT is a school for cupcakes like Kevin Durant.
Can you imagine if this site was limited to just UH cougar fans and alumni who like the Rockets? It wouldn't fill up half of Hofeinz pavilion or the line at Frenchy's fried chicken
They use to play in San Diego Look, Rice, UT, A&M, we got no beef with you UH guys, but it appears you guys keeping yapping about us all the time why? @Ziggy We always let you stay over when you decide to leave your parents place to go to the real parties we know some of you never left the nest. we feel you . we love you.
They also used to play in the AstroHall. They played wherever they could before the Summit was built. LOL.
