He doesn't take very good care of the basketball and loses it very easily. He also made some mental lapses in defensive rotations in the past few games that he has played in.

Which makes the team better,......quicker and more athletic....and players who play within their abilities.

I would rather have Mike Harris over Bonzi...now.

You guys overvalue athleticism sometimes. athleticism aint everything. look at scola and cassel.

i'd take savvy and brains over athletiscm anyday. Tha Atlanta hawks are tha most athletic team in tha league for years, and how have they done??

Oh, no doubt, I just don't think Bonzi falls into the Savvy category. I think he is a decent player, who has been vastly overated based upon one playoff series 2 years ago.

I have been charting his post ups lately and they have not been bad, but horrendous.

In one game he had 6 postups, and those resulted in 4 turnovers and 2 missed shots....

However, when the Bonz plays off the ball and is a cutter (Like the Boston game) he can be very effective.

Bonzi is great as a cutter, and crap as a post up player (teams no longer cover him on the block with a smaller player)....in addition when he posts he hogs the ball and stagnates the offense.... it seems Adelman recognized this and put him on the bench, even with Tmac out.

I like Bonzi...somewhat, I just don't think he is essential......

Bonzi's been playing well, especially compared to last season when he didn't play at all.

However, I wouldn't mind if he left. We could replace him with a better player.
