Obviously you forgot the Kings and Lakers series several years ago. Was it 2000 series or 2001 series?

Actually I feel the same way. If Rox loses this series, I will root Pistons or Heats to win the whole thing. They don't have many floppers there. And I will root every opponents Mavs are against, starts with Phx.

You probly don't know that we have a guy called Sura who does FAINT on the court. I think we can just ask Sura to collapse on Dirk next game whenever he gets the chance. :p

    Hey BrianKagy,

Yes, Lee Harvey Oswald did shoot everyone with three shots in a moving car using a bolt action rifle from a room high up in the Library depository.

And Jack Ruby, who did not really have mob ties, did shoot Lee because he loved JFK and felt really bad for Jackie.

And the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, the easter bunny and Uncle Sam are having a poker game tonight.

Pete Rose and other prominent sports figures including an NBA superstar from the 80's/90's have never been involved with organized gambling.

And I am sure there are no refs working the Las vegas oddsmakers either, ever.

NBA is getting very close to WWE from an entertainment aspect. These flops are about as real as the slaps in WWE, that really hit the chest.

Oh, and I thought Manu was from Central America, and not a Euro?

I don't know if the NBA has changed - it just depends on the specific combination of management, coach and players.

The Celtics were good at drawing offensive fouls and practiced flopping.

Chuck Daley and the Pistons were NHL hockey players in NBA uniforms. One of the Piston forwards - may have been Rodman or Sally, intentionally elbowed Mark Price in the head giving him a concussion and putting him out of a Pistons-Cavs playoff series for a few games. Cavs had no other PG having traded KJ to the Suns.

Must I bring up the ex-cons known as the Jazz? Remember the hug? Inexplicably uncalled.

Too bad Boki is not still here - he seemed quite willing to sacrifice himself for the good of the team while leveling a lowlife like Malone. Of course he really did it cause he was pissed. The high point of Boki's career here.

JVG must have inexplicably put Deke's elbows in a jar on his mantle. Perhaps CD had them temporarily removed?

Laimbeer, Oakley, Bowen, the list could go on. It was all about money 20 years ago. And it is all about money today.

    Great post!

Unfortunately the refs have always given preference to stars, remember the Jordan Rules, but lately it seems to get worse.

If its about whining and sending video to the league I don't think the players should be doing that but the coaches and owners. If Cuban sends a video tape showing how the Mavs are getting screwed then Les should send one pointing out how the Rox are screwed.

Lets let the players and leave the lobbying to others.

Last I checked, isn't Yao with Reebok now?

I am not talking about Nike selling shoes, I am talking about the power of Yao being responsible for those sales.

Nike has been selling shoes in China before anyone ever knew Yao. Yao is not responsible for that.

Oh, and BTW, Nike is not the NBA, I said the "NBA" making major money off Yao as a marketing tool. That has been largely a myth than a reality.

The only one who has benefited money wise is clearly Les Alexander, his team value and revenues have skyrocketed since McGrady has been here (33% increase this year alone in team value:eek: and 53% jump in revenues in one year:eek: ). So apparently McGrady has tremendous value as a marketing tool in the USA. Les can think both T-Mac and Yao for all that cash flow into his pocket.

Now Les must spend that money, or else:mad:

To bribe those refs' wives, ask them to give testimony how they received money from Cuban, and how they are biased and determined to fail Yao?:D I would like that kind of soap opera.

I think "flop" will make for a stronger chant... One syllable. "Flop!" "Flop!" "Flop!" Great idea for a chant... like the "Daryl" days of baseball...

From my wife, the Jazz fan:

"That Nowitski guy gets more calls than Michael Jordan did."

This from a woman who is still bitter about the no-call on Jordan's game 6 jumper in Bryon Russell's face.

I didn't assume you could read anymore than I assumed you could actually see.

My bottom line assumption was that you followed the games via braille.

I reheated some Mission Burrito® from yesterday. I ate it about 5 hours ago. As of right now, I have spent over half of the past 2 hours basically power-squirting rancid Hershey's® syrup out of my butthole.

    Oops, sorry. Wrong thread.

    Sort of.
