Are doing an interview in front of the bird slaughter house what represent honesty and integrity to you?

Do politicians who hold press conferences or interviews in conferences rooms show you they are dishonest because of this?

When speaking about who owns a pair of shoes fit to wear, remember which candidate turned the campaign into a giant shopping spree to the tune of 150k(the answer is Palin).

And it is important to remember which candidate worked holes in his shoes.

I refrain from the name calling mostly because your opinion is of no value to me. The Governor of Alaska probably doesn't have a press secretary but if she did, you tell me what political advantages anyone would expect to gain from this short interview at a turkey farm?

This is a person that doesn't care what you or anyone else thinks.

She was at that turkey farm to do one of those dopey pardon the Thanksgiving turkey bits that politicians do. MSNBC showed the whole "ceremony" before they went to the interview. Man, was that painful.

Every Governor has someone serving in this capacity... as do most elected officials above the county level.

You guys haven't even gotten to the really absurd part. Palin was at the turkey farm for a turkey PARDON! Got that okie. This was a planned media event where she pardoned a turkey then did an interview with a turkey massacre going on in the background. Words cannot describe this level of FAIL.

And lord help me it gets worse. She was told about the turkey carnage going on in the background and let the interview go on.

Palin's turkey pardon interview becomes too grisly for some
    Updated: 11/21/2008 10:39:07 AM

WASILLA, ALASKA - Alaska Governor Sarah Palin pardoned a turkey Thursday ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday but another turkey didn't fare as well.

Warning: video could be disturbing to viewers

The governor was being interviewed by a local television news station while the work of the Triple-D Farm and Hatchery continued.

That's when Governor Palin found herself in a less than desirable spot for the interview.

Just minutes after pardoning one turkey, a farm worker began processing another turkey just a few feet behind her, plainly visible in the background of the video.

Governor Palin was told by the photographer what was going on behind her and allowed the interview to continue.

Doing an interview in front of a slaughter house shows that she is not concerned about appearances and taking extra effort to make certain she is always shown in a positive light is not of value. It's honest.

The GOP spent that money on Palin because they didn't like her own wardrobe which probably consisted of a few pairs of work boots.

There is no one who would say that Obama didn't work hard during his campaign but I would say that more effort was spent creating an image than was spent letting the people get to know the "real" Barry Soetoro.

By the way, did one of the reporters really ask if some Alaska programs were on the "chopping block?"

No it's not! She's not a third generation turkey farmer or some ****. Not concerned with appearances? The GOP auditors might beg to differ when they look at those Saks recipts. It's not honest - it's ****ing stupid. Really ****ing stupid.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever read. Seriously.

I stand corrected. This is the dumbest thing I have ever read.

She does. Bill McAllister was it back in September.
To get gullible goobers to buy this "reality" schtick - see, e.g. you.
Indeed you don't. The Arrogance of Ignorance was a well chronicled part of Palin's appeal and you are rocking it home.

You are free to be ignorant - just don't call your ignorance 'reality' and expect us not to laugh.

The title of the thread is misleading, it should be "The comedy that is okierock"

saying you have foreign policy experience because you're four thousand miles from moscow is idiotic or comic brilliance

running on cleaning up gov't while you are investigated for abusing power and when a report condemns your actions and you say it vindicated you is idiotic or comic brillance.

this woman's an idiot and i'm so freakin disappointed in your freakin idiot party that it put that freakin close to the freakin presidency that I will not even consider voting for a freakin republican for the next 10 freakin years.

You guys don't even know how much fun I get out of coming here and watching you get riled up over a video of Sara Palin at a turkey farm. This forum makes my day every day.

I just poke you and the entertainment is off.
