Cobra is a pretty dumb nickname in my opinion. I could never even believe that Black Mamba stuck with Kobe - especially since he declared himself that. It wasn't even bestowed upon him by someone else.
Nah, stick with The Beard or The Chef. He doesn't really do the cooking gesture much anymore but it's still part of his identity to me.
To me he is "kimchi". an acquired taste and smell. Some will never like it but folks are starting to appreciate it.

I look forward to calling him Champ. But not yet.. I think of him more as a hypnotist than anything else. He lulls defenses into all kinds of things methodically then snaps his fingers and presto.. points. But I ain't calling him the hypnotist when everyone knows he's The Beard.
If he was to have a new nick name i think it would have to something to do with dancing or moves like his step back. Something funky n smooth. Idk lol
