I was once quoted in MacBeth's sig.

That's probably as close as I'll get to my dream... I'm doomed to be the Charles Barkley of ClutchFans.

I don't think lame "hot" threads in which the OP has about 99% of the posts and bumps in them should count!

"The Committee" strips you of your trifecta.

Sir, I contest my actions in that thread were not dishonorable. There were no useless posts. I was addressing questions and making valid points that were germane to the topic at hand. I maintain that my post ratio in that thread was less than 20%, which I think you will find is far less than most DaDakota threads, (And not even close to a MacBeth or Manny Ramirez thread back in the day).

So judge me if you must, perhaps my intentions in having an engrossing and thorough discussion about the prospects of adding a stationary 7 foot 9 center to the Rockets roster were somewhat suspect looking. But can a man not dream of achieving the Triple Crown? Something so sacred that men had sacrificed countless hours hoping to one day get a taste of that sweet bliss than can only be described as a little taste of heaven mixed with a hell of a lot of unicorns and Kit Kat bars and ****?

    CAN A MAN NOT DREAM?

STRIP AWAY MY TITLE BUT YOU WILL NEVER STRIP AWAY MY DIGNITY.

Can someone tell me what the perks are for achieving the triple crown? Do you really get a crown or a certificate or what?

Or do you get carte blanche to act like a total d!ck to everyone on the board, lording your status over noobs and non contributing members with "I'm CF triple crown winner, case closed, end of discussion!" Because if that's all you get, aren't you just using the award for evil? To act like a glorified t_j?

It is merely a rare feat that should be noted when accomplished. I can only think of a handful of posters who have done it.

droxford, Rockets2k before he was clutch crew, etc.

    OK, let me try again...

I was once quoted in some guy's sig.

That's probably as close as I'll get to my dream... I'm doomed to be the Smarty Jones of ClutchFans.

I thought one of the crowns was to have a Custom Title?

The only accomplishment that I am missing is the sticky thread.

Some poster here (with good reputation might I add) has a quote of me in his signature.

Needless to say I'm not very proud of how I achieved the hot topic thread.

So 2 out of 3 is not too bad for someone who's been posting his June of last year.

Although I have been around this board for much longer. So I know my way around it.

The "Hot Topic" being a criteria is bogus. You can post anything stupid and half the board will jump on you - all you have to do is keep responding after that inciting more responses and... ta da... hot topic.

The criteria needs to be revisited!
