Pretty much all of this. Bosh's D is very underrated especially in PnR D.

So we are picking up Chris Bosh and losing Asik, Lin, Jones, and Dmo, without the ability to take in any contracts beyond the league min.

We'll have a great starting 5, but literally no one on the bench. It's like we are the Anti-Spurs!

Who will be our back-up center? Back-up PF? Back-up PG?

It's going to be tough to fill the roster out that's for sure.

Morey signed our starting point guard to a minimum contract from Moscow. Have some faith in all things Daryl

Oddly, I like how Bosh would fit in Lin's favorite play, the one with the PF receiving ball out of PnR only to initiate a second PnR on other side of court with a handoff.

When did Spurs trade away Tim Duncan and Tony Parker?

Not true, we will have the Room MLE which will be enough to easily score a "better than vet min" veteran (Aaron Brooks, Jameer Nelson, Chris Andersen) or at the very least recover Troy Daniels.

I think we can put some bandages with our 1-4 bench spot. It's the 5 that is a problem. I fully expect (if there is no decent 5 available) that McHale will go Rio Grande Viper small ball line-up with TJones and Dmo alternating at the 4/5 with Troy as the centerpiece.

Need to add a good defensive assistant to work out the team defense. If we let it stay the way it is, Bosh could easily fall back into his lazy Toronto defense days.

I expect times where we go small with Bosh at the 5.

Bosh at 5 would be a great offensive team. Also, Harden/Bosh pick and rolls will be lethal, with both players able to competently shoot or drive all the way to the basket. Will be very hard to stop.

Not too often, I hope. I want our starting line-up to finish games too. And playing with sensible minutes compared to last year.

Bosh makes Asik very expendable because he is now the backup C.

Nuff said about Bosh on D. On offense, he's developed into a perfect fit to play off Harden and Dwight.

May be not for Griffin type of power fowards. But definitely will give LMA and Dirt trouble on both ends.

Even with a 'bad bench' I see little down side to this

I think we need 3 guys on the bench that can hold the fort. Beyond that, we will likely have a very, very bad bench.

Bosh gives us so much flexibility on boh sides of the court:
-True stretch 4 with very solid mid-range shot and newfound ability to nail 3s. This will improve spacing in half-court offense
-Can play the 5 when Howard sits, is in foul trouble, or needs to be pulled for Hack-a-Howard
-Elite pick-and-roll defender who can defend quicker bigs and the ones with range (LMA, Love, Dirk)
-Championship experience will be helpful to a team that is still generally young and inexperienced in the playoffs
He's really a perfect fit for this team.
