that one artest shot to win the game was terrible, aaron waited way too long to get the ball near yao, realized it was too late threw it to scola who couldnt do anything with it and the artest had to force it up....what we should do on those plays, when we have nothing to lose because it is tied, is either (1) give it to yao with enough time to make a pass or take a last second shot, or (2) let brooks drive and throw soemthing up, at least we would get the last shot and worst case scenario is we go to overtime
As much as most of this board doesn't want to hear it, you'd get exactly the same results with the same players. Rudy's entire offense was built upon ISO. The opponents...and everyone in the building...knew what was coming. But when you have Dream in his prime and some good driving perimeter players, it's a little tough to stop even if you know in advance. Adelman's offense is built on recognizing what the defense is giving you. If a play doesn't work, it's the players not recognizing what to do after the defense just took away Option A and Option B.
