***- 2013 Cleveland Cavaliers Anthony Bennett

If there's a conspiracy to help the Cavs... It sure took a long time to work

Why would there be a conspiracy to help the Cavs instead of the Knicks or Boston or the Lakers or the Bulls?? How does the NBA benefit from the Cavs being a contender?

THE DECISION . . Nuff Said

Not so much a conspiracy as I am sick of watching folx trot out non comeptitive teams
only to be rewarded until the stumble into being pretty good

This is like the extreme opposite of the colluding HEAT
    It's the Tanking CAVS

    Rocket River
    They got their pay back

I agree that one team should NEVER be awarded the 1st pick 3 out of 4 years EVER....

The first pick was determined by a lottery. It's not like it was given to them (unless you think it's fixed).

I have no idea what this thread is about.

Yes, because clearly the NBA wants Cleveland to be one of its premiere franchises. Cleveland's just like NY and LA - gigantic market, great appeal to NBA players, etc.

    Fair enough.

Its clear a crappy franchise got rewrewarded for its ineptitude.

Better the Cavs than say some other franchise like the Lakers.

    Whoa!! That kinda makes sense.

The League conspires to get Lebron back to CLE after the Decision put such a bad taste in everyone's month about the NBA in general, and their King in particular.

    hmmmm

The NBA benefits by having LeBron gain legendary status when he wins a lot of rings with this talented Cavs squad. Imagine the craze and comparisons with MJ if he succeeds.

Did the NBA also conspire to help the Spurs demolish the Cavs in the finals?

I wish we did something like this. I would rather have a Tim Duncan, Lebron James, or Andrew Wiggins over Harden or Trevor Ariza.
