My guess would be one of his relatives. The cop letting him go may have saved him from picking between diming on a family member or doing a bid.
great story and glad he got out of that environment and is making a difference now to kids that is similar in his former situation.
What's up with Burger King changing people's lives who are messing around with drugs? First RDJ and now Caron? Good story though.
I've always loved TuffJuice. From his days with the Wiz, Lakeshow, Mavs and Clips, the guys has been professional and a major contributor. I think during his first year with the Mavs he was one of those guys that was going to have an epic breakout season or two before an injury he slowed him. He simply just knows how to score the rock. I wish Morey could get him for cheap. I'd take him over Omri all day. However, I think I may be the only guy left on this board hoping we keep Cisco. He's slumping, but when his shot comes back and when we need a backup defender at the 3, he will be useful. Anyway, great thread!
It's hard seeing a guy that's grown to like 6'5 1/2 ever living that kind of life. You think about Caron Butler, and you think dedicated and disciplined athlete that had a form of support and nourishment to make it to the NBA. Just unbelievable...
