I'm sure several of you already caught this on NBA.com. Thank you so much for sharing! Would not have seen this if not posted on clutchfans. Truly an awesome story, and I hope he can forever be a role model to kids that follow the wrong path.
Caron looks different here. Anyway, amazing story and glad that he found his way. Hats off to you Mr. Butler.
lol he now owns 6 burger king franchises that made me laugh for some reason great story though cop saved his career he'd be rotting in jail now
Thank you so much for sharing! Lot of respect for Caron Butler. That piece really brought tears to my eyes.
I suspect it was a set up by some hater. Being in that environment while trying to change your life for the better, you're going to get some envy from those who can't do it themselves. It's plausible that someone or somebody didn't want him to, for lack of a better term, "make it out of the hood."
Great story! Anyone else chuckle slightly at Butler owning 6 BK franchises? I don't know why that was funny, but I laughed a bit.
Powerful segment. Just became a fan of Butler. Always thought it was undeserving for Caron to receive a championship ring when he was with the Mavs when he missed most of the season and the playoffs but now I'm glad he is an nba champion.
