    Nene's has played great defense down the closing stretch that helped us ultimately win games.

    Whenever the Rockets say their player only have minor injury, watch out. :(

    Can someone explain to me why the Chronicle or any news outlet would let their reporter post info using their own name versus using the company's name? For example, why isn't it @ChronBB or something to that effect? I'm under the assumption that Feigen works for the Houston Chronicle and any info obtained while he is on the clock should be the info of the company. And now it leads to things like @HunterAtkins35 which no one has any idea who that is. Just trying to understand how the news media & twitter work together.

    Reporters want to use their name because their name is their brand. They want to cultivate an audience.

    OK nvm. Not "possibly douchey" anymore. Didn't realize it before but his Twitter banner features Steph Curry.

    Douche confirmed.

    I understand that but how is it allowed if they are under the employment of a company? They are in essence getting paid to build their own brand? For instance, what value does Yahoo get for hiring Woj? Do people follow Woj because of his articles or his breaking news?

    Before Twitter, I could see the old model working because most news reported had to be accessed on the company's website or paper. But now with social media, the reporters are basically promoting themselves and their employer does not benefit. Not judging. Just trying to understand how this works.

    It actually is a tricky subject. Who owns the audience? Not all companies have the same policies. Some companies say they own the audience others are hands off. From what I can tell, the authors generally keep their audience/twitter account if they leave a company. But like I said, it is a gray area.

    Not doubting Hunter Atkins info, but I would feel better seeing some additional reports on the timeframe from Berman/Watkins etc who are also covering the Rockets. You would think they would have gotten that info by now if Atkins got it. I guess we'll see. Hope it is accurate!

    @BAHAMIANFAN
    Feigen links to his chronicle articles in his tweets every day. It's basic internet sharing on behalf of his company to draw clicks to the website.

    He also builds a following on tweeter so ppl will retweet his articles when he posts them

    It's very simple. Woj does sharing via tweets too. All the ESPN guys do. NYTimes. Wash Post, TMZ. etc etc. I guess you think ppl just read the tweets and don't click the links
