    Does your mom actually make emm like they do in El Salvador or does she make them fake ones with cheese and not quesio..... If so then your mom needs to start a pupusa business.... And a forum, pupusafans.net....

    100% queso with a mix of munster cheese and 100% chicharon that she makes herself. She also uses real lard and masa. These dont look like ugly gorditas. We had a restaurant a few years back but i wasn't around (Spain) and she let my nitwit uncle ruin it with adding other tex mex garbage on to the menu.

    Looking to start a pupusa truck in the next year. My own business using her recipes.

    Sounds amazing, when I moved to San Antonio I couldn't find a pupusa place to save my life. Only place I knew about was a seafood place called La Playa that wasn't very good.

    The place that Felix was talking about off Hilcroft is a Pupusa Loca. They have a few locations around town but certain ones are hit/miss. The ones off Hilcroft are really good, the ones at the HWY 6 Bellaire location...not so much (Have eaten at their Hammerly location too-those are good).


    Damn I think I know what I'm having for dinner tonight
