It starts at 4:30 CT on HBO. Click the image to open in full size. Unfortunatley, all the talk about Pacquiao-Mayweather last night will mostly take over today's fight for Triple G.
I can't believe that GGG fight went as long as it did. I thought Murray was a dead man so many times from the 5th round on. That man deserves some credit for being tough as nails -- but GGG is the best fighter of his generation.
Ward's too big for Golovkin. GGG's the same everyday weight as Canelo. Even Murray looked bigger, thicker than GGG. GGG dominated but I thought there were moments when he looked like he could be in trouble. Super middleweights with size advantage will have a good chance at beating him.
ward has too many skills for GGG, actually. Everybody wants to see Mike Tyson in GGG (he has the knockouts), however the difference between tyson and GGG is that tyson had the best hand speed for a heavyweight in the history of boxing. He could unload on you in a blur. That's why people feared tyson. GGG has punching power but he doesn't have the hand speed to get into ward's defense. I don't think there is any way GGG can beat Ward, to be honest. Honestly the only guy I think that could have had a chance to beat ward was Dmitry Pirog (3 years ago). I don't know if there is anybody that can beat ward now.
Still not sure if Golovkin displayed no defense when attacking because he knew Murray was no opponent and had a weak punch, or if he's just that careless. Seemed very risky and ran into many punches while trying to knock out Murray, could hurt him vs. someone like Ward.
Murray is no bum, many thought he beat Martinez. Still, GGG slaughtered him. Let's see who will step up to the plate to fight him next.
Doesn't matter when to go with iron fists you've got an iron chin. Dude took some massive shots and just shrugged, I think when he realizes that his opponents can't hurt him he just goes seek and destroy mode and turns up the pressure. golovkin even said he was just boxing and practicing for the first 6 rounds lmao. Murray got robbed in Germany when it's 1v4 and was unlucky against an ailing martinez. Dude is for all purposes undefeated and should've had Sturms belt
The same people calling him overrated are the same people saying he should go up a whole weight division to fight the lineal champion. Just enjoy him for what he is

Cotto turned down over 10M to fight Canelo. He got 8M against Mayweather. If Cotto is only fighting for big pay days. What is he doing by ducking Canelo?
Someone told me he has 3 months to fight Golovkin or he vacates his title. Maybe he is going to sack up and fight GGG
Thurman and Molina are going to win. Broner is overrated and a cloud. It was awesome watching Maidana pummel him
