That's what Arum said. But I've never heard Floyd ever say that they offered pac 40%. He's never said that, so I don't believe that that's ever been on the table at all. In fact he ALWAYS saiys, when discussing pac, that he's overed him 40 million for a fight, which would be roughly 20% of a 200 million dollar purse.
if the fight doesnt happen cause Floyd wants more than 60% the media and general public will turn on him EVEN MORE.
Floyd and Manny meeing at heat game. https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos/E0...p4?versionId=IhGJ0sE2VdC5V0.btzDOYT1L_0qdd.cN
I get the feeling that this is all a ruse and that Pac and Mayweather have already agreed to the fight and now they are just creating a media frenzy just to make sure to hook us: line and sinker.
Do they really need to hook fans line and sinker though? I mean, these two made headlines, were first run on sportscenter, by just showing up to the same game! Imagine how the world reacts when these two actually fight. If it was staged, genius move. In the viral world we live in now, that might have been the best promotion they could do for the fight. They also met after the game to discuss more details about the fight.
The more and more I read about the fight, the more I agree. It's a done deal, and they are just getting everyone worked up.
While Pacquiao is busy meeting with royalties and top world leaders, and serving as a judge in ms universe contest, Floyd is being denied an australian visa. http://sports.inquirer.net/172711/australia-bars-ex-convict-floyd-mayweather-jr
I am beginning to think Floyd set up this meeting with Manny as a way to say hey look I'm the one trying to get this done. with no intention of following through with his "good will." JUST A DIABOLICAL WAY TO KEEP HIS IMAGE INTACT This would be, if true, a floyd move.
that's just unlucky, bad timing. mike tyson was granted entry into australia. what's changed is a domestic violence victim was named australian of the year a few weeks ago.
Let's get ready to rumble!!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ot...yweather-agree-160m-Las-Vegas-mega-fight.html
One more fight for Money after Pacman. GGG next? A win over Golovkin would erase the question mark against his career and fight record.
I ain't believing anything until I hear a real announcement from Floyd or his camp. Rumor is maybe at the NBA Allstar game.
It starts at 4:30 CT on HBO. Unfortunatley, all the talk about Pacquiao-Mayweather last night will mostly take over today's fight for Triple G.
