So who else watched that awkward Klitschko fight this weekend? Klitchko is great at managing his distance and teeing off, and as soon as someone gets remotely close, he grabs. Why is he not penalized for this? Same reason Mayweather wasn't in the last fight? I thought excessive holding can bring on point deductions.
It was an ugly fight to watch. And Klitchko kept using this weird two handed jab/push thing...it wasn't a real tab, he was basically shoving his hands in the guy's face. Very strange. Then the opponent kept waving his left hand in the air. I don't get that technique at all.
Pulev being heavyweight #2 in the world and showing up like such a wuzz tells you everything about the state of heavyweight boxing. Guy has absolutely no defense and wasn't in shape for most of his fights, yet was unbeaten before this match and undisputed #2. Klitschkos fought everyone significant in the top rankings, they can continue for 10 more years if the heavyweight class stays like this. Heavyweight is the weakest and most unattractive class nowadays, sad to see.

Chris Algieri wins on points. Maybe this victory will finally give the 31-year-old world champion the momentum to move out of his parents' basement. The loss will make it easier for Pacquiao to switch full time to basketball, where he can grow as a point guard on the Kia Motors and enter his name into the NBA draft this spring.
