Unfortunately it ended in one round with controversy.

They may say it is controversial, but it was on that other fighter (if he is not ready and he clearly wasn't), to get more time.

Riggy went in for the kill and he got it. He doesn't have to wait for anything.

i think thats on the ref. He signaled them to fight. This wasn't mayweather ortiz type of cheap shot but I didn't think he was ready. Tapped gloves and immediately went for the kill. Rigo would have eventually stopped him. He didn't need to take the easy route, hes too good for that.

    Disappointing ending.

    Triple G is a BEAST!!!!!

Lots of possible matchups: Golovkin vs. Cotto, Golovkin vs. Canelo, or Cotto vs. Canelo

That was such a badass knockout. Took one flush and still managed to floor Geale..

Good Boy Nation!! GGG is such a beast. I love watching a stalking fighter. Geale was his toughest challenge and showed that, and still got sparked out in 3. I don't see Cotto or Kid Chocolate stepping up to the challege after that performance.

GGG is the real deal. Why is he not calling out Mayweather?

focus is on the middleweight division and highly unlikely Floyd will allow him to fight at 154, be a catchweight at 152.

Forget the ref, Kovalev is a monster. I'm not sure hopkins will be able to neutralize kovalev's power.

yeah the female ref was a bit surprising, but yes, kovalev with that punch to the gut that ruined caparello

bernard has great experience but will he have the ability, that's a whole different question

All three fights on HBO were kind of strange. First fight, the scoring. Second fight, the knockdowns. Third fight, the quick-trigger ref.

    That is boxing......

It is almost a rarity where everything goes according to the script.

I HATE that ref. I swear he is the worst in boxing. Vic Draculic or whatever. He's like the Joey Crawford or Dick Bavetta of boxing. He's trying to be become part of the fight. Like people came to see the ref do his job. Sit your ass down man. Watch how he moves around the ring, its like hes trying to fight too lol

Joe Cortez is also a inconsistent official because he's makes some questionable decisions in big title fights.
