That's what the people want in their fights. The leg thing might be from overtraining or maybe Mike just got out of bed wrong...

They were. I mean, if there is a silver lining, maybe people enjoyed those fights enough to help jump start boxing again. It used to be so great!

I’d watch Canelo knock him out.

I enjoyed the humble display of respect and sportsmanship at the end.

That entire thing was a failure on multiple levels and a disgrace to sports entirely.

The women had a good match and Tyson get that money...everyone else though should be ashamed, especially Paul. Should just join his brother in the WWE, since thats all this is.

Perhaps he gets a shot a normal fight against a 27 year old Pro now......

Tyson has been just a human for quite some time now. Some say since Buster, some say since prison. Some say it happened later.

I thought Mike did a great job not getting seriously hurt.

This was WWE. Tyson had passed on throwing punches, as did Paul. Logan Paul would get destroyed against a top 100 Heavyweight

    A couple of things-

First Netflix doesn’t appear to be able to handle the load of a live sporting event. If this isn’t fixed by Christmas Day, it’s going to be embarrassing for the NFL.

Second, I didn’t think the fight would go to decision. I thought either Paul would knock out Tyson, Tyson would be declared medically unable to continue, or Tyson would pull something and be DQ’ed and ask for a rematch.

The thing is it shouldn’t have gone to decision. Paul clearly stopped being aggressive. It’s an example of why people hate boxing.

The only thing I can think that would save that is the NFL policy that all games be broadcast over the air in the home markets. That's gotta cut down on the internet load, right? Just like it always has?

    eta again:

Apparently from what I've been told this was not boxing, just a bullshit shitshow that was somehow sanctioned and allowed to be wagered on.

Sydney Thomas: ‘Real winner’ in Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight

Judges scored the bout 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73 in Paul’s favor. However, the match failed to captivate the 70,000 attendees, many of whom booed the fighters and left the stadium early. While the fight itself disappointed, a different highlight captured fans’ attention.

Sydney Thomas, a 20-year-old University of Alabama student and Ring Girl, emerged as the true star of the night. Representing Most Valuable Promotions alongside four other models, Sydney dazzled viewers and was quickly declared the "real winner" on social media. This was only her second time in the role, following her debut in Puerto Rico last month. Sharing her excitement online, Sydney wrote, “Adding 'ring girl' to the resume. I had a blast getting in the ring.”

As the youngest of the group, Sydney is gaining rapid recognition in both modeling and social media. Her presence stood out among her peers, including seasoned professionals like Virginia Sanhouse, Lexi Williams, Raphaela Milagres, and Delia Sylvain, who also contributed to the event’s glamour.
