Yep. It's a shame how they let Anderson go for the likes of Bagwell!

Hey MadMax - please don't post that picture from Rushmore anymore - I had a friend who played in that movie - and it was the absolute all-time worst movie - I still shudder thinking I took 90+ minutes from my life to endure that, that Nachbar!!! (just kidding - I actually like Nachbar and think he will make a great 20 minute role player for the Hornets).

Just an aside here on player development and people thinking players suck when, if given the opportunity they can grow:

Lived in Cleveland in the 80's when they had Kevin Johnson and then drafted Mark Price. KJ whipped Price's butt in practice on a regular basis and MP shot an amazing 39% (memory) his first year. MP thought that he sucked and was not going to make it.

The Cavs traded KJ and ? to Phoenix for Larry Nance and gave the PG job to Price. I think a few of us have heard of Price and respect his game. Maybe practicing against one of the best made him better, and certainly being given the ball and the trust gave him the opp to change and grow.

But the only way anyone will ever know how good Boki can be is if he actually gets some floor time. Lots of guys get into diff situations and either appear much better or worse bacause their supporting system has changed.

Boki had 14 2nite which I believe ties his career high, 5-7 from field, 1-3 from 3pt line. 3-3 from ft line with 3 boards and 1 steal in 24 minutes. And yes he fouled out in that time but Nailon has 5 fouls in 24 minutes w/ 3 minutes lef to go in the 1st OT, (guading Peja is quite a task).

Looks like NO might end the snide 2nite, we'll c.

Boki starting to get comfortable and shooting better as more minutes come. JVG sucks and cant develop players and the Nachbar trade looks bad even more with Wesley playing like Moochie. Lue also has been playing solid so screw JVG.

    Lue wasn't doing anything here.

Barry's shooting will come around and so should Wesley's, I like his D.

Too bad there's always someone that's going to point out that he fouled out and that's all they'll think about when looking at his stat line.

There's going to be many more nights like this

    Stats line: 14 points / 3 boards / 1 steal

Yeah I just wish he could have stayed a little longer in the game to set a new career high.

But I'll go as far as to say he'll eclipse that career high in the remainder of this season.

Yes you are correct, I was mistaken, his previous career high was 12.

None the less he'll go over 14 this season.

I agree with you. Barring injury, I expect him to go over 20 this season. And his defense and decision making will improve with time on the floor. He won't be fouling out in 20 minutes by the end of this season and by the end of this season it will be evident that he indeed does have potentialk and will be a player in this league. Phoenix will probably sign him to replace Joe Johnson and he will roll next year and bite the Rox in the .... when we play his team.

Reuniting w/ coach Mike, he'd fit very well in that system, as long as he keeps improving his shooting.

Though I honestly believe the Hornets themselves have a good nucleus w/ Davis, Magliore, and if Smith continues to improve and West also improves, and of course Brown will be a solid big man for a couple of years to come. Boki would fit in nicely but then again Phx is more enticing.

I can't wait till we play NO again.
