Or maybe the fact that Nachbar had already as a Rocket scored more than 7 points total for the season would have given away that it was a typo.
Perhaps, but when making a bet (Or contract) you can not afford typos. This is a business arrangement, and he needs to be clear, as do I. If he meant what he typed, fine, but clearly he is now saying that was not the case. Ok. I have offered up a bet, he has not responded. 6ppg for the rest of THIS year. DD
I can see DaDa, sitting on his leather office chair, petting his white cat, laughing hysterically as he points to his secretary and says "You signed this contract for $15 for the year, it didn't say $15 per hour! You will abide by your contract, woman! Mwahaha!"
If all Boki can do is average 6pg, then he doesn't deserve any minutes. He is supposed to be a slasher, a shooter, and a scorer (at least according to his fans).
Thats what Im thinking. For all who say it was a mistake to trade Boki and that he will bust out, I would say 8-10 PPG minimum should be the barometer by which his success should be measured.
I had thought he needed the proverbial change of scenery. After what I witnessed vs Celts, Boki looked as lost as ever. Frankly I am rooting for the guy.
If you take that kind of contract to court, i.e. 6 pt/ a yr or $15/ a yr, you can get it voided. BTW, you are not thinking very highly of Boki, are you? Talented? jump out of the gym, 2nd or 3rd option on a team? ... and you only bet 6ppg? I'll take the Under 10ppg for Boki's games with NO the rest of the year. Up to $50 to Clutch tip jar.
Fire, I think he will develop into that, but he needs playing time to get there. He has been sitting in the shed for 2+ years now, it will take some time to knock off the rust. DD
It's not like he hasn't been practicing in those 2 years. JO didn't take long to "knock off the rust" after he escaped POR's bench. Let's stop making excuses for the guy.
Make it either over 6.5 OR 6.0 or better w/over 35% shooting In both conditions, he has to play in 3/4 or more of NO's remaining games, so he can be considered a "key contributor" on one of the worst teams in NBA history.
The only caveat would be if he gets injured, then we the bet gets nullified, if you agree to that than.... Fine, deal ! And the winner gets to write a signature for the loser, and the loser has to sport it for 90 days. Deal? EP
Yes, but what if he gets put on IL for a fake injury like he was in Houston? That's the same as getting a DNP CD, effectively. I will give it to you if it's a real injury, and by that I mean something broken, torn, separated, dislocated. If he comes up with "back spasms" or something like that.....that should be a win for me I think.
I will agree to that. It is more of a risk than I would like to take, as they may put him on IR to get him used to their system, but I like the action. You are on Fish bait. DD
10 pts for him tonight, which would have me worried, but 2-8 shooting and 4 PFs give me hope that his suckiness may save the day.
