OK, how about watch the #15 pick dribble the ball off his foot while trying to drive the baseline for a monster jam. Is that better Mr. Man?
I bet this little man could whip the snot out of you. I do it on a nightly basis so don't give me your little man crap.
LOL Roc Paint is probably in the top 10 ob CC bbs asskickers. Maybe there should be a list or a pole. Anyhow, for whatever his potential might be, Boki has done nothing as a Rocket other than stink up the court. I wish him luck and hope the best for the Rockets and Boki, but I think his 7 and 7 game being considered a monster game is a little overexcitement and premature celebration of the coming of Boki. And whatever happened to Grega, the poster here who is Boki's brother?
Actually checked the Roster for the Cougs about a month ago and he wasn't on the team from the Roster they had on ESPN.
But he had so much potential. If the dumb Coogs had only played him more he could have beena contributor. Not a great player, but a solid addition to the team. Dis-loyal Coogs. Is JVG coaching college now or what. Worst let go ever!
And people always call in the radio asking if UH will ever become a power house again. Answer = NO WAY!
And let me guess, you base this judgment as to their respective motivations on the classic DaDakota foundation: .
Yep, that I am a better judge of talent than you. Clearly, it is obvious to all who are in the know...those who disagree with me are obviously ignorant. Also, that was the knock on Tmo coming out of college, and it proved true, a lot of what makes a player excel is desire, some have it in spades others are just happy to be there. Mo Taylor is an example of a player who could be amazing, but is just happy with the level he is at. Robert Horry is another one... Examples of players who are motivated are most of the super star players, and a lot of role players that get by on smarts and heart. DD
Cheetah, No question he was a contributor, my point is that he got satisfied and never worked to improve his game. He rode Dreams coat tails, then Shaq's and now Duncan's. Didn't Jack Haley get a ring too? Horry could have been a superstar player, had the smarts, the freak athleticness, but never the will to work on his game. DD
I disagree that he simply got satisfied and had no will to work on his game. I don't think he had what it took skill wise to become a superstar. He was what he was...a good role player. Superstars can take over a game. While Horry was athletic and knew how to play the game the right way, he wasn't someone that could impose his will like the great ones. He needed other guys like Dream, Shaq, Kobe and Duncan to feed off of. He made a living off of double teams. While his guy was doubling the big man or the quick guard, Robert was pulling down rebounds and knocking down wide open jumpers. He knew his strengths and played to them.
Absolutely, he knows well enough that he can't be "Big Shot" Horry the entire season ~ especially as he has gotten older.
