agreed, and especially for shows that will probably be as loud as those. nothing like going to work the next day with a constant ringing in your ears.

but i'll be at DBT regardless.

If only it weren't on a weeknight... Also, I'm not crazy about the Meridian.

i like the meridian, personally... acoustics aren't the best, but it's a pretty intimate venue. DBT played a fantastic show there last week.

thought about going tonight but forgot i have a soiree to attend.

    I prefer Warehouse Live.

I think it's more that I don't really care for the people who work at the Meridian.

I had never seen them before. Very, very good show. I was amazed at how loud they sounded. Not noisy loud, but full sound. A lot of energy. They played for an hour and a half and did not disappoint.

Carney played with a lot of energy. He gave his all to that drum set. You could see his face, during some of the heavier songs, laboring as he hit each big cymbal crash. Aurerbach was amazing. He fingerpicks his electric guitar and a lot of times doesn't even do that. He was simply fretting a lot of the notes but it had no fall off in sound at all.

One of the best I've seen.

I saw the Keys here in Pittsburgh for the 1st time this summer. I was blown away. Its amazing how much sound 2 guys can produce. You could tell a lot of people in the crowd didn't really know much about them, but 10 minutes into the set, everyone was blown away. One of the best shows I have seen in a while.

They did only play for about 45 minutes, which was a bummer. But well worth every penny.
