Somebody please shoot me or loan me a cyanide pill, because as of midnight, I am 40 years old. Just kidding...it ain't that bad. Thirty was a bad one. By forty, you kind of just don't care anymore. Unless someone sends you a strip-o-gram, of course. Last night I went and jammed at Silky's Blues Bar on Washington Ave., and got fairly intoxicated in the process. If you've never been there, you should check it out. It's an adorable little dive. I like dive bars. I will be spending my 40th moving carloads of crap into the house I just bought. Then I will have dinner out with my folks, and then meet up with some friends later in the evening for more adult beverages. I don't feel a day over 39. So there you have it.
