I don't know what catholic churches you guys went to... But the priests at the ones I attended advocated government subsidized abortions and the giving of alms to ACORN. The more money that one willingly donates directly to the government and not the poor, the better. That is the will of Jesus our Lord.

Interesting. Then why do some support a political party, the republican party, that would allow:

The same men that would allow this to happen then, are still the men behind the party now.

El Salvadorean death squads? Isn't that a memorial for Archbishop Romero?

People of all denominations support various political parties. Are you saying that no one in the entire world should support the Republican party?

yes. He was all about social justice, yet his message to this day is considered evil by many right wingers, many who claim to be christians.

I personally never agree with the bible on anything, creationism, earth being 10,000 years old, adam and eve, and donkeys talking. The bible isnt too liberal, more like too false?

Im very against religious beliefs that make you think a certain way without using common sense, therefore no sarcasm.

I'm against religious beliefs that make people do that too. I am a follower of Jesus, and a Christian.

Not even Christians follow the 10 commandments. Crusades, holocaust, salem witch trials, northern ireland troubles, bosnian/croat/serb massacres are just examples.

I have my own common sense that tells me the difference between right and wrong, not a book full of fairy tales.

You shouldnt contradict yourself in the same sentence. The bible has quite a few lies too.

I'm not a Christian, and I'm not asking you whether people follow them or not. I asked you what you thought of them.

You said you disagree with everything in the bible.

Do you disagree with having a rule that says not to kill?

He was just a regular guy like you and me but claimed to know everything about the world, but I wouldnt know jesus anyway, the Bible was created 200 years after his death so a lot of words in there might be skewed.

When I mean everything, I dont mean literally. I mean the beliefs that christianity has about the world and the way it works and how everything started.
