I'm obsessed with Are You the One? it's like Real World but with 20 people living in one house, not 7. AND they all have a match. They have 10 tries over 10 episodes to pair up and guess who their match is and win a million dollars.
Damn, forgot how many good shows were on MTV. I'd be down for some marathon sessions of a number of those shows. I probably haven't been on MTV in 3-4 years, anything good on nowadays?

It was built to capture teen and twenty-something ad and consumer dollars, like rock & roll itself 25 years earlier. Broadcast television couldn't do that without alienating older men or parents, although MTV taught them how with reality television. Their news division was pretty solid once.
