Favorite movie of all-time? I've always been partial to Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Die Hard (although LOTR is making a hard charge).

Best movie of all-time? Gotta go with Citizen Kane. Shawshank is a great, great movie, but it's NOT the best movie ever made. And Titanic is nowhere close to the best.

    That list blows.

I firmly believe that the best movie of all time is:
"The Good, The Bad and The Ugly"

This is pretty much the only movie that I can watch over and over, and be entertained by every single scene.

Man! I have yet to see Das Boot...been wanting to though. Another decent German War Film (spoken english) is The Blue Max (1966). It's not great, but it's good.

Yeah, that's a great one too. Most fans consider Outlaw and GBU to be the top two Eastwood films. GBU is the best of the "spaghetti" westerns and Outlaw is usually considered to be the top "American" Eastwood western (although a strong case could be made for Unforgiven as well). Which is best depends entirely on what you want out of a western.

Have you seen Tom Horn (1980 - Steve McQueen)? That's a good western.

Nope, I'll keep an eye out for it.

"Once Upon a Time in the Old West" is another one that's pretty awesome. Also, "Trinity is Still my Name" is a very interesting take on the western genre. Don't bother with the other two Trinity movies, though.
