Whenever I am depressed, I smoke a substantial amount of weed and then have 5-6 hours of nonstop sex with my girlfriend.

That usually snaps me out of it.

    5 words

    "It would always be worse"

I live by the 5 words everyday, and it has helped me tremendously through various struggles in life. More than the bible, more than family, more than anything.

    Think about those 5 words.

The best way to get out of depression is to laugh yourself out of it. I mean literally watch comedy shows and movies, till the point where you are laughing the majority of the time. It really works.

    Amen.

I'd like to say that over the past couple years I've have moments of pure joy, but the majority of the time I've felt as though I've been in a rut. This week I've been telling myself to take life a day at a time. Even though I haven't felt well all week, its been a really happy week for me. Just taking everything as it comes, being meticulous in my studies and my work, making healthy meal choices and getting lots of sleep...and not WORRYING...man, I feel great. :)

Of course, that will all come crashing down if we lose to the Mavericks tomorrow... :(

There we go. Bartles and James can be enough :p

Along with the "It could be worse", Its probably too deep and exhausting a thought but I think of the times and the era we're in. Not to take things for granted what we have - running water, endless resources for food, technology, the computers we used to get on this forum. Some things not only some people today might not have but even past people like Edgar Allen Poe. I'm sure Edgar Allen Poe wouldnta minded stopping at Taco Bell and posting some thoughts in a blog when he got home.

In between being in probably the richest most powerful country in history yeah the people in it can suck . Its just enough to keep me going for another day at least.

    Yup....words to live by.

Cheer up, things could be worse. So I cheer up...and sure enough...things get worse.

    (sorry....old joke).

I do Judo. Nothing makes you feel better than choking someone out, or getting choked out. Its like rebooting your brain and clearing out the RAM.
