JVG has already acknowledged how the league has changed since he last coached and how his philosophies would be adjusted on numerous occasions. We wouldn't be getting the same jvg that was here previously.

We did it, CF. We found the one NBA fan who wants his team to hire Mark Jackson. I knew there was one guy out there, somewhere. And he's a Rockets fan at that.

Remember how much we disliked McHale?

Now remember that McHale coached Rockets schooled Jackson coached Warriors...

    yeah.

I have heard that JVG could bring Mark Jackson in as an assistant coach. That would be really interesting.

From what I understand he did not get along with the front office of the GS Warriors and some of the other employees as well. The owner came out and said he did not hire good assistant coaches as well. He had to send Brian Scalabrine down to the D-league because they couldn't agree on some fundamental things. They had to fire another coach because he was recording all of the coaches meetings and going to the GM and playing him the recordings. I think he would be a great assistant coach but I don't believe that he would be a good head coach at all. He certainly got along with the players but the rest of the organization hated him.

He's not THAT bad, he did instill a good defense for GS, but he is terrible at offensive schemes. Too old-school.

Absolutely not. I rather hire Byron Scott and tank than that paranoid religious scumbag.

    Mark Jackson is Kevin McHale2.0
There is a reason he was booted out of the door at Golden State.

Jackson is not a "smart" guy, thinks he knows everything and is too high on himself. Often when he's commentating he makes remarks that make me question how he was able to be so good on the floor and seemingly not have a sharp mind. JVG has such a smarter bball mind that when they're commentating it's sometimes painful how dumb he sounds.

He one time openly criticized JVG on air for the way he saw a play, and it was super rude and uncalled for. Jeff called him on it. Something like: "I understand if you respectfully disagree, but there's no reason to personally attack me for our difference in opinion."

He's is a rich man's Charles Barkley, the term Knucklehead fits okay with me. I would HATE for us to hire him. One of my last choices.

Can you elaborate more on how being a devout Christian helped end his time at GS? Not trying to troll, just genuinely curious. Also, isn't our owner Jewish? I'm just not seeing the point of religion in your argument.
