Where have you tried it? I went through every Belgian beer possible at beer gardens in Melbourne... and the Brown Leffe is the one that stuck with me (preferred the bitterness over Leffe Blond). I enjoyed the smell! The more popular choices for Belgian beer were Duvel, Hoegaarden and Chimay. But I'm not a beer connoisseur like some here.
In no particular order: - Blue Moon (with the oranges in it) - Blue Moon Harvest Moon - Oscar Blue's 10-FIDY - St. Arnold's Lawnmower - Shiner Commemorator
I like dark beers typically, but always enjoy trying anything recommended by a bartender or waiter. I had a bottle of Guinness Extra Stout the other week that tasted really good, and I've always enjoyed New Belgian's 1554 Black Ale.
My favorite day of the year is almost here. The day that I first see this glorious beverage on the shelves at my local grocery store:
Figured that was coming. Doesn't really matter to me, I'd rather have Miller than Coors or any other of the piss-waters.
may God bless you and all of your endeavors, Harrisment. you are truly a man of great wisdom and noble deeds.
The Miller is cheap, and I like it. Domestics is Domestics. Not a beer snob, don't have the pocketbook for it yet. Sorry to offend your refined taste.
Drink that quite a bit, has been a favorite for a long time, not quite as good since Coors bought them out but still pretty good.
i do appreciate the Dickens shout out. i give them credit for that. but remember: St. Arnolds - Houston Sam's - Boston so it's REALLY just about the math.
I'll agree with you there. I think Coors is very watery. Just think by frost brewing it, and then letting it get warm, and then refrigerating it has to ruin it. You can't let beer get warm after it is cold. Have you tried Yuengling? Its the same price as the other domestics, but so much better IMO.
Yeah, it's good stuff, I was surprised no one else had put it up yet. I agree with you on the topic of the Coors buy-out, too.
