For the weekend, I finished 3-2. Wazzu (-3) over New Mexico - WON Texas Tech (-24.5) over SMU - LOST Fresno St. (-1) over Washington - WON Tennessee (-4.5) over UNLV, 1st quarter bet - WON Houston (-3.5) over Rice - LOST

This was quite possibly the worst day of a lot of our collective lives. Me and many of my friends lost a lot of money, but a member of the UH marching band died today, and that's something we'll never be able to replace. A good friend to many people I know, it certainly put the monetary loss and that fact that this is just a game in perspective. (By the way, it sure does take a lot of balls to talk trash behind a computer screen after the game. Feel like a big man now, eh?)
Sorry about the loss of your marching band member. That's really awful. Believe me, I would most certainly be talking the same smack to your face. The kind of pre-game performance you guys provided here really deserves some special words.
I sincerely doubt that. And what pre-game performance? Look through this thread. 3 people talked trash about Rice, some guy named Smokey, a guy with 20 posts, and Trader Jorge, A RICE ALUM!!! And Baqui goes to UT if I'm not mistaken. No UH student or alumni was acting classless and putting down Rice, so don't give me that garbage.
