Here is the post that I first responded to in this thread.

t_mac1 argued that LeBron wasn't involved at all in player
movements by Cleveland and I have provided links suggesting otherwise.
It appears that you agree with me rather than with t_mac1.

The initial thrust in this thread was about the possibility of LeBron eventually trying to get Bosh swapped for Chris Paul.

The thread detoured some about whether LeBron had influenced player
personnel decisions when he was in Cleveland.

The initial thrust in this thread was about the possibility of LeBron eventually trying to get Bosh swapped for Chris Paul. You are starting to be tangential in this discussion and starting a new thread would likely be a good idea.

By not doing a Compare & Contrast of the actions by LeBron to
the actions of others such as Bosh, Kobe etc, then I am implying that LeBron was the only one who had done these types of things over the years - decades? I am here to discuss LeBron as the thread starter intended. If you want to do a Compare & Contrast of LeBron to others (Kobe, Bosh, Jordan, McGrady etc), then perhaps a new thread would be a good idea.

I have read this several times and do not understand what you are asking.

If you meant to say:

The monster was being created before LeBron was drafted by Cleveland.

all of mango's articles were basically deals by ferry, and he basically LET LEBRON KNOW of what's going on, which happens with most GMs and their best players. it's typical that a GM informs and hopefully gets the approval of their best player's on trades and things like that.

just like i'm sure lebron wanted amare, but was fine with jamison b/c ferry made the trade. and i'm sure lebron was aware of both possibilities

but the myth that is going on is lebron demands certain players (BULLYING HIS OWN FRONT OFFICE - yes "bully" was used by several posters) and his front office has to abide by it--ala lebron was basically the GM. that's false.

a cavs' insider has claimed lebron is basically a bystander in terms of recruitment.

woj wrote lebron wanted amare. he has broken most of the news in te past few years in the NBA. it appears you trust berger moreso than woj.

what lebron did this offseason showed you he wanted a superstar, not a jamison-type of player.

Well, the original post convinced me I would not want Houston pursuing Chris Paul.

Just forget about the articles, which you are still trying to spin. Let's talk logic. If you were Cleveland's GM, and your superstar was threatening to leave once the contract is up, would you do whatever you could to cater to his demands so he would consider staying?

The Lakers had two superstars in Kobe and Shaq. And when they couldn't get along, they had to figure which superstar's demand they wanted to satisfied or risk losing the one who they really wanted to keep.

You are delusional if you really believe that the Cleveland roster didn't have Lebron's fingerprint all over it.
