Looks like Canaan is done for the rest of the season with a foot injury

My guess is they traded for him and chose not to play him to drive his value down. Then the Rockets can re-sign him to a favorable deal. He's certainly very talented but he's not better than Brewer or Ariza at this point.

ohe will still go somewhere else unless ariza is gone and really think he's a 2 anyway. him and his agent will want a better role which will lead to a better contract down the line. dude is a rookie he could careless about playing for a contender, he needs to get his playing time.

Sort of, it was Hinkie and Morey's FU to agents that get their players sign 1 year deals, not the 2 +2 deals they use.

Agents will now use KJ McDaniels as an example for this.

Man... I want KJ to start playing more.

KJ McDaniels is no Troy Daniels.... yes, they both have Daniels in their last names.... but KJ got the extra addition of Mc in his last name. His Mc to his Daniels gives him that extra leaping ability to block the **** outta his opponents. Troy couldn't do that. Both Daniels had 3 point shooting, but KJ has that extra Mc that's athleticism and defense, and height. KJ could actually be our secret weapon. But all this hope is for nothing unless McHale realizes it...

I feel like our coach will actually start implementing him in our system very soon just like he did with Troy... I'm just hoping earlier.

I think we will have McDaniels stay on a reasonable contract, and Brew will walk.

    Terry/harden/prig
    Harden/brewer/mcdaniels
    Ariza/brewer
    Jones/smith
    Howard/Capella

We should have given him more play time

If only KJ and Nick could throw a rock in the ocean. They need the motion of the ocean.

On nights like last night, where the offense isn't the problem and you're getting roasted every possession defensively, you can't leave plus defenders just sitting on the bench.

He is a poor shooter. He can hit around 30 percent. Certainly not enough for this season, but he can improve on it.

i think KJ has HUGE upside, if he can figure out how to shoot the 3. he has kawhi leonard type upside. it would be a mistake to let him go this summer.

the difficulty is offering him enough money and playing time. i assume that since he only signed a 1 year contract, he's planning on going to the highest bidder. don't expect a sweetheart deal, especially if we aren't guaranteeing any playing time.

Corey Brewer can barely shoot as well but he can contribute still.
