What a silly narrative these "journalists" tried to push.

 

Exactly, I saw no indication that Bruno would've started over Sengun (and he shouldn't because Sengun is far and away the better player)

I did think the reporters would know what they were talking about, so I believed it for a bit. But it seems to me that the plan was always to let Alpie start...and if it wasn't then it's crystal-clear now

 

But I was told this was iron clad evidence that the FO and coaching staff were complete idiots who hate Sengun and especially his Turkish fans.

 

let’s not forget Sengun hate squad here in clutchfans… Those big brains are now hiding in their basements

 

Turkish fans don’t just support him for his Turkish identity only. He is just a GREAT player… no matter where you come from, Sengun deserves all support and fair treatment by the way he plays the ball.

There is no hate squad for Sengun. It's the Sengunatics who jumped all over this story and started ******** on Bruno Fernando and Silas for no reason.

 

Alright let’s not call them hate squad but how about idiotic nitpicking association?

Right now “Sengunatics” has been quite trendy, and rightful… each and every day more people realize how truthful “Sengunatics” has been.

 

I think nobody ***** on Bruno but it’s just he isn’t a player to replace Sengun…that was super clear from day one.

One thing I noticed was that he didn't get those minutes at his national team either.

 

Not my intention to offend anyone but even in the age of political correctness, an idiot is still an idiot if they keep nitpicking every single thing around a player who has been treated unfairly until now. It’s just super dumb to hate someone nonsensically when it’s obvious Rockets plays much better when Sengun is given significant minutes and sets the offense.

 

True, he wasn’t fully utilized because Ataman, head coach of the national team, has a philosophy of basketball based on double scoring guards so Sengun doesn’t fit into that system much. Very unusual for Ataman to use him as the primary offensive option. His ego wouldn’t allow that at the first place.

I still think he could have been given more minutes considering Turkey was underachieving and guard dominant offensive sets were quite poor. Next time things will be different I suppose.

 

That's actually the crux of all of this SOF nonsense. Nobody's out here hating Sengun, he's one of the most loved members of the roster by far. The problem is that any time anybody points out a thing he needs to work on (which all of our youngsters have many of) his SOF's flip out and decide that's "hate" because he's not universally anointed as a HOF in his second season. There is no "Sengun hate" there's just a lot of over-emotional outbursts by his fans who can't handle anything said about Sengun unless it's unabashed praise.
