I can't wait til we draft a real point guard or tyty can ball so we send kpj a$$ to the bench where he belongs. Trying to develop a Guard into having playmaking abilities at the cost of developing everybody else is dumb as fk.

So in contrast, Bruno fits better in our offensive scheme. He's a better lob threat, rim protector & weakside defender. The numbers don't indicate he sucks

Yup. People have been noticing that there's confusion in the lanes quite frequently. As you too pointed out, KPJ and Sengun use the same (middle) lane and usually it's all they can do to keep from bumping into each other; whereas JG leaves the middle to Sengun and uses the side of the paint, making the P&R a legit double threat.
With Bruno it's easier for KPJ of course - the fabulous lob!
With Sengun, you need a bona fide PG to run the P&R, someone used to passing in heavy traffic... and someone who is not necessarily looking for a layup every time they run it.

This is hard tho, I’m not gonna lie. Playing to Sengun’s strengths makes everyone else cutters and spot up shooters. Prioritizing the others makes Sengun a screener/roll man. Fit is always tough with players like this. There’s no guarantee a new coach is gonna change that. More talent is coming in, so are we just gonna make everyone off ball players to satisfy one guy? Maybe, if he’s that guy

 

Green plays off Alp well, that’s all that matters.

Catering to KPJ is a problem, he’s not a star, he’s not the player Silas thinks he is.
He should be a catch and shoot starter or 6th man instant offense.
Pandering to him and not better players in Green and Alp is dumb

 

This really isn't a player vs. player issue. It's a coaching issue. A real coach would find a way to make a player with Sengun's talent work. You invested highly to obtain him, so it makes no sense to bench him. That's inept/lazy. Putting him on the bench in favor of someone else is not getting the team any more wins, so it's a bad philosophy. Find a way to make it work, COACH.

 

Well you gotta deal with them with hardcore facts

-Sengun is a atrocious defensive liability
-Sengun doesn't really fit best with our offense given his post ups muddy up the pace
-Sengun allegedly has high basketball IQ, but has some very poor turnovers & often misses his assignments defensively

All in all, one of our best games in Phoenix he was a -19. Do we really need him?

 

And, with the way KPJ plays, everyone is off ball players. Drive and kick to stationary players or the only player he can run PNR with in Bruno. That’s far more catering to a specific skillset than anything for Alp
