How was Shreveport regarded before gambling? If anything, this may attract people to Houston who always had a negative stereotype about the city, and they'd realize that it is a great city. I know of at least five close friends who've spent more time in the area lately than they ever have in their lives. They admit that it's a great city, one that they were dead wrong about before. I think turning the Astrodome into a casino would really help with that. Plus, a billion dollars to the economy would be huuuuge. And, I may move there.
