I retract this statement. What a difference an hour makes. Save Carl Landry.

I like Kmart, but do not like giving up Landry, unless there is a 3rd team that nets us Hill etc...

Interesting, Kmart is good, but giving up Landry - who is near him in production in a lessor role seems a lot.

I will reserve judgement until we get the full details.....hopefully Landry doesn't go without a replacement, guys that can score like him and finish after contact AND hit free throws do not fall off of trees.

It seems that $$$$$ will have played a major role in letting Landry go, as after next season he is an unrestricted Free Agent and the team will lose control of him as an asset.

kevin martin is an injury prone overrated player. DD was spot o nwith his analysis, it seems that they waited too long and now they have to do something than go the rest of the season without playing tmac.

Like the ariza signing, a compulsive signing.

    BULL.

The deal isn't even final. The Knicks just hoped on and this WILL be a 3 team trade.

I agree.. Ariza signing was just a counter to losing Artest. It obviously wasn't at the top of Morey's list but he did it to salvage what he could get.

I hope I'm wrong because this doesn't feel like morey. At first sight it seems too stupid. There has to be something else. Time will tell hopefully.

I remember you said you would choose Scola over Landry if the rockets only can keep one, And that is what the rockets chose.

I'm thinking the same thing. Kevin Martin is good and all, but if NY wants in on the deal, I think they should send us Jordan Hill or even possibly Tyrus Thomas who they have been going after. Even Al Harrington as a band-aid rental and a larger exping contract ($10 mil) and --NY gets Kenny Thomas and Brian Cook, would still get us under the cap, and avoid luxuary, and we could target a replacement in either FA or the draft. There has to be something up Moreys sleeve for another player coming back in return.

Yeah as a starter today.......probably cheaper too....better rebounder, smarter on both ends of the floor.....

But I like Landry as a Lowry type of game changer......he will be missed.

The Kings have a front-court of Carl Landry, Spencer Hawes, Jason Thompson, Donte Greene, and if NY gets involved...Jordan Hill.

    HMMMMM

Sounds like we could get one of the players listed above (well minus Landry).

Landry is a lost cause. In a few years He will be demanding more $$; It's lose him then or now.
