Why would you bump it? Do you like to kick yourself to the ground, stomp all over yourself (Jones style?), chew yourself up, regurgitate and do it all over again??
It's an unhealthy obsession especially during trade season. Some people watch the Karsashians..... I get on Clutchfans and type about trades.
Tried both and I prefer this too. This is one potent drug (clutchfans) and for the record- not a coke head!

What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you bump your own necro thread that makes you look like a total moron? People like this dude need to be rookified, he's obviously a troll seeking attention in his life.
Morey may understand statistics, but what he may not understand is people, human relations, psychology, and the loyalty which may lead a player to give his all for a team when management believes in him through thick and thin and doesn't treat him like a trade chip. Players who are made to feel like trade chips, like commodities, generally won't give their all for the organization. I'm not saying that Morey is Darth Vader; it's just that as a MIT statistics guy he may not understand people (i.e. players) as well as other, older, more experienced GMs might.
Always, we have lost a great poster. I bet he lurks; there is little point in thinking outside the box and waste more than a few hours on here defending your opinion.
You know he still posts here just a lot more responsibly now. You could probably learn from him on that front as well.
mas·och·ism | noun \ˈma-sə-ˌki-zəm : enjoyment of pain : pleasure that someone gets from being abused or hurt; especially : sexual enjoyment from being hurt or punished Psychosexual disorder in which an individual achieves erotic release by being subjected to pain or humiliation. The term is derived from the name of Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, a 19th-century Austrian novelist who wrote extensively about the sexual enjoyment he derived from verbal and physical abuse. The amount of pain involved can vary; it is usually sought out and to some degree controlled by the masochist. Masochistic and sadistic traits often occur in the same individual. Seems accurate.
