Trump had nothing to do with it. Obama appointed IG started an investigation before Trump was in office. Democrats demanded the investigation. Investigation found McCabe to have lied about leaking to the media. Mueller appointed ethics director said to fire him. so he was fired.

Some advice for Trump's defenders: Don't talk about a lack of charges against anyone until the investigation is concluded. It is a weak position and makes zero sense. It appears like you have nothing else upon which to hang your hopes. A question for Trump's defenders: Why? So far all we've seen is that he's lied, surrounded himself with corrupt criminals and foreign agents.
