They definitely didn't know what to do. Initially, after the communication that led to the Matthew three, the line up just broke down. Seemed like Sengun and Wood were both trying to do the same thing and in each other's way. Sengun was trying to adjust, but it just led to confusion. It was smart of Silas to sub this out. I do hope they are working in practice with that line up. I feel like Sengun and Wood can be such a good combo.

Yes. From the elbow like Jokic not from halfway between the paint and the logo.

Sengun’s Per 36 stats are unbelievable. 17.1pts/9.1rb/5.4ast/2.2stl/1.2blk. Not saying it’s prophetic, as Per 36 is usually regarded as a trash stat, but it was exactly correct in predicting Wood’s stats last season converted from his season in Detroit. I’ll do some more digging into Per 36 stats from players who used to fall into the “should be getting more PT” category but there aren’t many recent examples with big enough sample sizes, ironically enough his teammate Wood is the best one.

Or we could just give him more minutes.

He says it's the long road trips that gave him the hardest time.
(That translator though. Must be his cousin or sth. Definitely not a pro.)

Silas is a cartoon character. He doesn't have hormones.

It’s not a trash stat, but it’s not always used appropriately.

Per 36 is a good stat for showing a player’s effectiveness while they are in the game. People too often try to use it to show what a bench player could do if they were a starter/full time player. It doesn’t necessarily translate that way.

What good is a fan forum if you can't trash the coach?

That work would be very much appreciated.

Per 36 is not sole indicator of success but it can be helpful in finding a lightly used hidden gem.

Both Wood and Mathews are great examples.

I wanna see Sengun and Martin Jr playing more minutes together, usually that's when good stuff happens.

Sengun made the #1 in NBA's week 6 top 10 rookie plays.

Every stat measures what it measures, it is the interpretation of that number that makes it thrash. So per 36 measures performance disregarding how much the player plays. Common logic says if a player performs exceptionally within the minutes given, you might want to try to see increase his minutes and see what happens. In Alperen's case, though, it is sad if you need to look at per 36 stat for that.
