This actually impresses me…a lot! Really great passing big men on here.

All these stats are great and all but Sengun is playing against second units and you are comparing him to other rookies that are playing against starters. Not a real comp

I think he is playing great but if he continues putting up the same numbers against starters then we can legit say he’s got ROY resume.

Of course it’s not his fault he’s being sheltered and sitting on the bench

It's nice to have a 19 year old rookie that no one has to make excuses for.

oth its harder for him to play his minutes erratically and in 3 minutes spurts...harder to get into rhythm that way and playing lesser minutes.... plus other rookies have the luxury of playing for the better coaches and with better teammates...

Interesting statistic but Webber was never a center so that was a reach that was uneccesary.
Its not like Sengun is playing against all 2nd teamers or he never plays against starting lineups.

Do you know the percentage he plays against starters or 2nd teamers?

He played plenty against Vu in the game against the Bulls.

Webber did play center as a rookie for Don Nelson who was playing small ball far ahead of its time. Given that and the fact that the age of 20 was also part of the criteria used to filter the stat it wasn’t a reach. You’re remembering correctly though, Webber played mostly PF the rest of his career. He’d definitely be a C in today’s NBA.

I don’t know what he’s doing against starter level players, but I can’t wait to find out. We deserve to know if this is real and sustainable. He seems like he’s held his own in most matchups so far though.

hell only play better with the increase of minutes...nobody can get any rhythm playing 15 minutes a night...

gsw would be 12th seed right now if curry only played 15 minutes a night

I can’t deal with all this Sengun love today! Seems like every hour some new little stat or piece of information comes out that really shows how remarkable he has played. It’s crazy!

And since Chet Holmgren and Paolo Banchero were brought up, for anybody that hasn’t been keeping up because it’s been a busy past couple of days, must see TV tonight if you have time.

And even if it were all against 2nd teamers, it would just mean he beats that competition easily. He does not belong there, should get more and meaningful minutes. As you said, that is not true anyway.

If that is Hakeem I really do not know what Dream Shake is.

    Happy bday, 94.
