If Silas is that sensitive, he needs to grow up. And he sure didn’t respond to Gordon liking a disparaging tweet about him.
Silas' feeling was hurt when Alpi showed him the right way to coach the game, so Alpi got benched by Silas' ego....
Is the second half worth watching? I gave up around the half and decided to get caught up on Succession. I just saw the box score after and my jaw dropped to the floor when I saw Sengun's PT. Then I said to myself of they must have went small to help JG, and I was unimpressed there as well.
Silas needs to be harassed even more by the media. That's what they have to do get the hell out of that loser asap. I hope he never coaches a team in the NBA again during his career. I loathe him. He is a bad guy. He will end up like Brett Brown. He will be put in front of the door in an instant and will never be able to coach a team again. But I'm sorry for him because even an idiot like Brett Brown coached a team for 6-7 seasons. Silas won't even live that long.
Garrison Matthews played more than 4x the number of minutes Sengun played. Garrison who? Exactly DJ Augustine 3x the amount. Danuel Homeless Jr. more than doubled him up. Armoni Brooks and Nwaba played more minutes. Hell, he may just "DNP-Coach's Decision" him next. Might as well.
honestly i would be more happy if sengun was sent to g league...there is no substitution for PT.... and i think that will not happen because he would have killed it there and make silas looking even more embarrasing and silly
I think Silas is taking orders from the top. I don't think he is that bad of a strategist. Stone and Fertitta want another top pick and they are making sure Silas gets them one. They are probably drooling over one of these young bigs coming up in next year's draft and don't want to miss the opportunity to get him. Wait to see what happens at the trade deadline. It will be a fire sale.
I don’t buy that reasoning. We suck. We don’t need to try to lose on purpose. It will happen organically as long as KPJ, Jalen Green, Wood and Theis is 4/5 of the starting lineup.
If it wasn't clear that the team was tanking, starting House, sitting Porter, playing Sengun 5 minutes should do it. They can beat OKC, had to wrap that L up.
Yeah, this is really a head scratcher. Everybody sees it and the coach doesn't? I can't believe it. There must be something under the surface.
Whilst that is true, I highly doubt playing Sengun more would jeopardize it. Sengun still has a lot ways to go despite solid play, and giving him 25-28 minutes a game will probably at most help us win 1 more game if Sengun was at his best. However, he will get valuable on-court experience and make games more competitive/exciting, and that's the important part. If Sengun is so good that he can singlehandledly help us win 3-4 games, then sure maybe benching him "might" be a good idea to keep the tank going. Otherwise, giving him no minutes makes no sense.
the problem is actually there might be absolutely nothing under the surface Spoiler of the sil@ss head
Fertitta thinks someone will trade for his vets. He doesn’t like paying them. It’s basically the equivalent of yelling at his chefs for tossing out a little too much of the bad part of the ingredient.
If Sengun is so good that, as a rookie, he can turn a significant number of losses into wins, the last thing the team should want is to slow or derail his development.
Noel apologized in Turkish after yesterday. He doesn't want any trouble. I can't even imagine the DMs sent to him in Turkish.
