Weird. Let us know if you remember the name. The best burger in Austin is at Mike's Pub. Of course, I'm pretty sure I won't live past 55 now for eating that stuff a couple times a week when I worked across the street.
It's on 7th, just west of Congress. It's on the second floor of a parking garage. Freaking greasy as hell. Never was a big fan of Hut's for some reason. The other places I really enjoyed was Dan's/Fran's and the little ice cream shack on Barton Springs just west of S. 1st. Can't remember the name of the place.
You probably dont like real burgers because you think White Castle is good. I don't know how that place stays in businees.
Then why is it #3 on your list, you moron? That's what I look for when I want a good burger, one that tastes like something else.
Dirty Martin's Kumbak Burgers. An OT special, tater tots, and a longneck. Aaah....college memories....if I ate one now I would probably have a massive heart attack on the spot!
Ooo...I dunno, that's a bold statement my friend. I'll take the Pepsi Challenge with Casino El-Camino's chile burger. Of course, you might have to fight an Azriel-Abyss impersonator for a pool table--you are SO Goth!
Jeeebus...that only narrows it down to about 100,000 people!! OK...one more try....the Ford Truck pimp/"My Mommy Tells Me I got Soul" singer?????
