Feels odd to nominate a movie I have never seen, but I think about all the midnight showings when people dressed up, shouted out lines from the movie, threw rice, etc. Seems from a multiple viewings POV it would have to be up there.

    Rocky Horror Picture Show.

A few movies I have seen that seem to deserve to be on this list:

    Miracle on 34th Street
    White Christmas
    Lawrence of Arabia
    Hoosiers
    Field of Dreams
    Young Frankenstein

I was going to complain about Young Frankenstein too..

Movies not on their list (and I'm sure I am leaving out a TON):

    Young Frankenstein
    Aliens
    The Jerk
    Spiderman 2
    Holy Grail
    Life of Brian
    Avatar
    Raiders of the Lost Ark
    Big Trouble in Little China
    Iron Monkey
    Crouching Tiger Little Dragon
    Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
    Trading Places
    The Whole Nine Yards
    Fletch
    Ghostbusters
    5th Element
    Tremors
    Empire Strikes Back
    Blade
    Talladega Nights
    A Few Good Men
    Top Gun
    Christmas Story
    Gravity
    Zombieland
    The Crow
    Highlander
    Pitch Perfect
    Airplane!
    Dumb and Dumber
    Unforgiven
    Tombstone
    The Quick and the Dead
    Austin Powers - I.M.o.M.
    Independence Day
    Jurassic Park
    The Sting
Jaws (How was JAWS not on this list??)
    The Shining
    Pirate of the Caribbean
    Sherlock Holmes (RDJ version)
    And on and on..

All of these, I will watch them if I see them on. Doesn't even matter how many times I have seen them.

Yes, their list has SOME good re-watchable movies (But I would watch the ones on my list above most on their list anyway), but several complete misses. Here's the ones which I would NEVER put on such a list:

    Wizard of Oz
    Sound of Music
Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Saw them, liked them, never re-watched them at all)
Titanic (yeah I know a ton of little girls watched it over and over, but it's not a drop-everything-and-watch movie for me)
Casablanca (again, great movie, but how many times does it have to be re-watched?)
    The Notebook (Seriously?)
Goodfellas (not personally into gangster movies at all)
    Pride and Prejudice (??)
Caddyshack (it REALLY has not held up well over the years, it's borderline unwatchable now)
Star Trek (Do they mean that first terrible movie from like '79? Awful movie.. now replace it with Wrath of Khan and I'm on board)

I actually really like The Sound of Music and can recite the lyrics to all of its songs.

Two movies that have been replayed every year since time began. Hard to not include them on any list of re-watchable movies. Especially since they are also on most "greatest moves of all time" lists.

That was the same thing I was thinking about Wizard of the Oz. They have played it every year for a reason, and the reasoning being some people like my grandma will watch it every time.

Two movies that would HAVE to be on my list would be Dazed and Confused and Friday. Throw in Evil Dead 2 also.

    I'd say

    Star Wars
    Airplane
    Young Frankenstein
The Deer Hunter (I'm mesmerized every time its on TV)
    Shawshank Redemption
    The Blues Brothers
    Empire Strikes Back
    The Goonies

and of course my all-time Go-To..

Considering today's date, I'm surprised "Saving Private Ryan" hasn't been mentioned yet.

Star Wars probably equals the whole OT, or just Empire Strikes Back.

Wizard of Oz and Sound of Music? Gone with the Wind? Who can actually sit there rewatching those?

Ben-Hur, Lawrence of Arabia, The Ten Commandments not there?

No Terminator: Judgement Day? No Aliens? No The Dark Knight? Total Recall? Robocop? Predator? Starship Troopers? Batman(1989)? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

A Christmas Story might be the most watched movie ever lol..

I do not really like to rewatch a movie. Since I mostly like movies which are great as a result of the plot it is sort of less enjoyable to re-watch them. So for me it are mostly movies I just find Funny.

For me "Snatch" is high on that list. Everytime I watch it I just keep laughing. "The whole nine yards" is also a movie that I do not mind to watch several times.

the LOTR movies are also movies that I watched several times and still enjoy.

    Dazed and Confused
    They Live
Back to the Future 1&2 (100% should have been on that list)
    Office Space
    T2
    Mississippi Burning
    Die Hard
    Naked Gun
    Runaway Jury
    The Departed
    Casino
    Lean on Me

Those 13 would be on my personal list plus a few on theirs. Matrix should be higher in my opinion.

That list sucks...they just picked the "greats".

Re-watchable movies typically include comedies...re-watching a 3 hour serious movie is not a fun thing to do.
